Words With Friends is a great game and for a good reason. While the game borrows a lot of cues from the classic word game, it’s friendly approach, and one-on-one setting makes it very easy to play and master. Despite the fact that it's light on features, experts and newbies will find enjoyment in this game.
Words With Friends is kinda similar to Scrabble, but there are a lot of small changes in the game. The game has the same board size, but the letter distribution is different, letter values changed, and the double and triple letter word squares places have been changed.
To play the game, two players need to draw seven letters from the pool randomly. The first player will need to place a certain word in the middle of the board and slowly add up the points that are listed on the alphabets. After the first player has made his or her turn, what they need to do next is to build the game into a crossword puzzle. Players need to keep in mind that every new word played must connect to the old ones and all adjacent letters must create valid words.
Unlike other Facebook and social games out there, Words With Friends does not require both players playing at once. It sometimes makes a game run quicker if both players are active, but it cannot be avoided that it can also make the game run for a long time.
Words With Friends is a fun experience. It may not be popular for its originality, but how simple the game makes it suitable for anyone who is into competitive word games.
