High School Story is a social/building mobile game that shows how diverse and dramatic life can become when a person reaches his/her secondary school life.
Players will take the role of a teen who is trying to make his/her own high school experience. The objective is to attract as many students as possible more preferably refugees from the snotty school just next door. The new students will need more than a chair and a copy of The Catcher in the Rye, so players must follow their polite requests for materials and facilities. Players will also need to assist or help them with their problems and paranoia that usually hits every teen on occasion.
One of the main tasks is to enroll students from various cliques, including, preppies, nerds, jocks, and other types of classes that can be unlocked. Individual classes are required to complete a specific quest, so enrolling them is a must.
Aside from enrolling students, players will also need to build up their campus. They need to provide decorations, hangouts, and other services. Learning is also the number one priority, so players will need classrooms that provide books. Books can be very helpful in leveling up characters.
High School Story’s gameplay is pretty standard. Most elements found in the game have already been done in other social games, so expect that there will be a lot of building and waiting. But that game has one notable twist which is becoming attached to the characters. The characters of the game can experience disappointments, triumphs, and personal problems that will need the player’s help via quests.
